Who's doing their first triathlon this weekend? (Page 2)

Its Friday. The T1 Bag is packed. The bike is clean, lubed, and ready. Everything but the boys have been shaved. I've spent the last 12 weeks swimming, biking and running. I've more than covered all the distances. I've improved my rates for all 3 disciplines. I've completed Bricks and Mock-Tri's. I'm very confident about this race. I've lost 25lbs, my resting heart rate has dropped from 66 to 50, my blood pressure from 145/85 to 130/73. I am so glad the moment is nearly here and can't wait to get in that lake tomorrow morning?

So, why am I so damned nervous?

Because of the fierce swift competition you're going to find there! (not)

everything in plastic bags because of the thunderstorms due at my first tri...check
ready for sleep....check

I'm ready

Bike, tools and pump in car. Bag packed, helmet, glasses, bike shoes, socks, gu, clif bar, big towel, little towel, swim goggles, water bottle. What am I forgetting? I guess I'll go back and check the "List" thread to see if anything jogs my memory.
