They teach a velodrome class here in SD. Allot of people love it. I think I will take it next year sometime, when I have more time.
I just have a feeling that I will love it and want to buy another bike, in which my wife will kill me!

I would love to ride in a velodrome but there is nothing like that around here. As for brakes, you don'tneed those as there is a technique for decelerating on fixed gear bikes.
