Subject: GVRD Training partners?
Hey there group, I am wondering if anyone is interested in getting together for some group training for running, biking or maybe even some dipping in the pool. I hate swimming but am trying hard to train. Evenings and weekends are my training times as I am comatose in the early mornings. I would love to get a group of us together to help support each other in the coming year! Looking forward to your responses!!
Chris

Not a chance, considering Chilliwack is in the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD).

Okay I'll throw my (roughly) weekly schedule out there. I live DT Van and usually train in Vancouver and North Vancouver and Fort Langley.

Monday: Rest

Tuesday: Swim at Vancouver Aquatic Centre and possibly ride to work or get on my trainer when I get home

Wednesday: Spin Class at John Henry with Laura aka misscullen

Thursday: Swim at Vancouver Aquatic Centre and possible get on my trainer when I get home

Friday: Trainer

Saturday: Ride either from downtown Van to Richmond (Iona and/or Steveston loop) or from downtown Van to Horseshoe Bay

Sunday: Team training in Fort Langley

I live in Coquitlam, work in Yaletown, and go to UBC...so I'm kind of all over the place. I prefer to do most of my training near home, though. I usually swim either at SFU or one of the Coquitlam pools, although occasionally swim at UBC as well. I ride my bike in my neighbourhood 95% of the time. I run in my neighbourhood as well as that's just convenient for me.

Until the time change we're starting at the Cuppa Joe on 4th and Alma and riding around UBC or out to Iona and back depending on how much time we have.

When we have enough daylight we'll ride to Horseshoe Bay and either all the way up or up to the first lookout of Cypress.

Hey there hazmaster our rides are all on the bike, no driving. I always bring my bus pass with me though. You'd be welcome to join us anytime.

What's with the weather? There's no snow in Van or N. Van (by the Quay), but I've heard of some over the weekend. Surprisingly there was no snow in Fort Langley either. Maybe we should just take up track racing?

I'm looking forward to swimming at Sasamat again. Monday evenings would work for me. I didn't put a wetsuit on at all last year, so I wonder how it will fit.
