What I like about my body since I have started triathlon training? I am getting a good tan from swimming.

I had a recovery week last week and knew that I'd probably gain a little, but the overall trend is down. Don't worry Monkeys, I'll be a net loser over the challenge and still expect to hit my goal

What I like about my body since I have started triathlon training?
I'm 6'1" and have weighed as much as 245. The extra weight makes running and riding a lot harder, particularly uphill.

Given that I live in a part of New Hampshire that is flat in no way, I'm either going uphill or getting ready to go uphill.

I like that going uphill is so much easier when I'm lighter!

What do I like about my body? I like that my waist is finally shrinking (had to tighten the belt a notch the other day). I also enjoy the new found ability to run, even though I am slow. I have never been a runner but I am actually starting to enjoy it.

What I like about me since Tri's: I like that I can run farther than I have in my life. Started doing this stuff about 3 years ago. I also like that my clothes feel a lot better and my body in general feels great.

What do I like since training? I would have to say the added definition in my arms from swimminig...I have always had strong arms from years of playing tennis, and so I like how I can have some of that again from the time in the pool.

Late reporting.  I was away for the weekend, and didn't get home until yesterday afternoon.  It's vey hard staying at someone's house, and having them throw all sorts of good things at you that you don't normally eat.  Fortunately during the day I was away from the house, and could control what I ate.

Wt last week: 146.2

Wt this week: 145.4 that is -.8 lbs for the week and -4.6 lbs for the Challenge.  Never thought it would be this hard.  Soooooo slow!

Now for the question: We tend to focus on what we can change and all but my question is.....

What do you like about your body since you have started to train for tri's??

I like when I'm in racing form.  I have some definition, clothes fit well, and I don't ache so much.

and my body...hmmm...i like how my legs look from running. i've always had strong legs from biking, but they are leaner and more toned from running. since i started doing more strength, i'm really liking how strong my shoulders look.

What do I loke about myself? Well, I have just started training for my first tri and I feel great knowing that I am finally off my butt and doing something. I have a goal!     sorry team...took a week fo from training adn stuff to be with friends...
    So, it didn't make for a very good weight in this week

    Current weight 160.2

    I gained.I think 3 lbs...ugh.! Need to majorly get back on track.

    What I like about my body since trtaining.  I can see a diffrerence in my arms..I like the definition.  I am hopnig that my legs get in better shape too!

    I weighed myself today and was down to 218 from the 224 I weighted myself on monday. I think I misread the scale or something since I was at 221 the week before. So team manaco mayhem look for a big week out of me. I also feel great.
