Anyone have one of these? I am considering purchasing but don't want to spend the money if it's not any good. Also, any ideas of where I might get the best price? I think MSRP is like $199.99. If anyone has additional suggestions for waterproof music players those would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks!

Don't have one, but check www.pricegrabber.com.  I looked into them at one time and was amazed at the different prices out there for the same thing!

Just checked, it looks like Wal-Mart sells it for ~$140

Hi...I have one and love it! I got mine thru Wal Mart online, so that I could return it if it was junk. I've been using mine for over a year and it works really well. Everyone at the pool where I swim asks me what the heck it is, and once I tell them, they ask where to get one.

Mine holds about 45min- 1 hour of music (I think...the one I have only holds mp3 format, so I'm limited as to what I can load onto it) and the charge lasts about 4 hours. (That's about 4 workouts for me.) I think the new ones hold much more music. You do have to connect it to your goggles, so save the instructions that show you how to clamp them on. (It was kind of confusing at first.) Also remember that the pads go on your cheekbones, not over your ears. (It will be really loud over the ears!)

The cool thing is that it can be totally immersed...I do every stroke imaginable with it, and also swim underwater. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of the thing. It just makes an hour of swimming so much more enjoyable!

Good luck!

I bought one for my wife when they first came out.  She swam with it once and then decided that she didn't want to do Tri's anymore.  She liked it though.  I can sell it to you really cheap.

x2

I've got one and love it.  Swimming is not my idea of a good time, so the music helps the workout go by a little less painlessly.

Have never had a problem with mine, bought it over a year ago, though, so it's the older model that doesn't hold quite as much music.  That said, I've never been in the pool so long that I was hearing songs repeated -- not by a long shot.

I got mine for $150 at a swim outlet mall.

Best. Money. Spent. Period.

Love it. Makes swimming a pleasure.

I was thinking of getting a SwimMan iPod, but the price for the headphones is insane. Anyone know of a good, cheap(er) set of waterproof headphones?
