Subject: New wetsuit, how tight should the neck be?

Got my new wetsuit today and it seems to fit great except the neck feels really tight.  Is this normal?  Does it loosen up in the water?  I have to wear it in 2 weeks for a race and if it is not supposed to be this way I am going to need to purchase another one.  Wetsuit owners...help please.

they should fit very snug in the neck so as to not let to much water in also so there is less drag. but also you dont want it to feel like its going to choke you. If you can swim in it a couple times before you have to race in it so you can get used to the feeling. swimming in a wetsuit is very different to swimming in a regular suit.
