Hey everybody,

I'm enjoying this great sport for quite a long time now and I am absolutely fascinated how more and more people become virtually addicted to triathlon and never get back to the life that they had before. I'm "living and breathing" triathlon each and every day for more than ten years now and I can't imagine how it could be another way. You've got to do it to understand it.

Keep up the good spirit and simply enjoy it!

Hi there! I just started my Triathlon Adventure this year ... I have three on the schedule for this year and I love it so far. I think its the variety of the workouts, the ability to run or bike anywhere you choose, with a group by yourself ... I dont understand how people can go into a gym and do the same boring treadmill and weight routine everyday.

I hope to be as lucky as you one day and look back with 10 years of triathlon success!

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't want to change my triathlon training sessions with gym workouts either. :-)

Welcome to BT. Are you actually living in Germany or just visiting? I'll be in Munich from September 21 to the 26th. I was trying to find some running races in the area during that time. Know of any?

Hey triwor,

yes of course, there are several - in- and outside of Munich. Start with the "Englischer Garten" which is bigger than the Central Park in NY as is expands directly from the Centre to the North East of Munich. There are also several smaller Parks like Hirschgarten (where it is also nice to go out for eating...traditional bavarian kitchen) and Westpark. You can also make a run along the river Isar. South of Munich is perfect for cycling as well (Pullch, Bad Tölz, Schliersee).

I hope you'll enjoy your stay!
