I'm seeing a few posts with the Adamo saddles. I'm curious as to how many out there have them and how do you like them? I'm riding on a Profile right now which I really like, but am always looking to upgrade that most critical of spots where your body touches the bike.............

I love the Adamo because I can come home from a 50+ mile ride without any "loss of sensation." The only problem I have is now my sit bones are sore after riding. There doesnt seem to be enough padding on the saddle (or in the correct place) for my sit bones. But I have no plans to replace the saddle for this reason alone and I have tried many saddles over the years.

Are you guys riding in aero position or on regular roadie config? I would put it on a tri bike so, is there a difference between the road and racing models for this purpose?

I was lucky enough to buy my Adamo direct from Blackwell...man, way over a year ago I think, before it was released, conditional as a 'test-rider' at a huge discount with a promise to advert it here and otherwise if I liked it.

I've tried to reply to all Adamo  posts here with my findings - I likee!

I have the tri model and set it up using their recommendations (do a search to find the link) and once it was in position, with the 'boys' hanging free off the front and the sit bones directly over the 'noses', it is a completely pressure-free, non-numbing ride.

I tried several other saddles, putting in serious (time-in-the-saddle) before deciding that I needed some serious perineal pressure relief.

Highly recommended!

I have two Adamo race saddles.  One is on my road bike and one is on my tri bike.  I won't use any other saddle at this point.  One ride of 3+ hours with no numbness sold me completely.

I'm brand new to riding aero.

I had a pro-fit on my new bike.  Just couldn't get comfortable on the saddle.  Switched out to an Adamo.  Wow, what a difference.

I'm still dialing in the position, but I can tell that I won't have any saddle issues.

I went with the race/tri model. Bought it from an LBS.  They had one race/tri model and one road model in stock.  From what I could tell, the difference is that the road model has more padding and cromolly rails.  The race/tri model has titanium rails.  I went with the race/tri model simply because of the color.

Both of them have the hook on the back for racking your bike.
