I guess the bike for me was ok. "Flat" to me here, still is rolling hills in my book. 1 hr 25-ish, maybe about a 17.5 mph rate? Honestly, I'm deathly afraid of speed if I don't have metal enclosed around me and a seatbelt. Hence my bike performance. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Maybe next year I'll get over my irrational fear (and actually train more on a bike LOL).

I can't understand how a pilot is scared of speed ;-) You guys did fantastic! Champions all. T1 was sent to try us - no doubt about that :-( Dx

I was there, too! Also my first Oly, pretty much in pace with Ellen. If we'd been in the same wave, we would have been pretty much together for the entire race! I'm new here. I hope that I meet up with some of you at future races.

Congrats on doing the Cranberry tri Deb...I think that was my final one for this season, but perhaps we'll see you next year, unless you do some running races this Fall. Post a short note here if you happen to be doing a particular event...you never know who else from the area might be doing the same one.
