Nah, I'll be out at Lake Saguaro tomorrow and Thursday for free, why pay?

Robin, will you be doing the swim in Lake Pleasant? I was seriously considering it until I found out the water temp will only be 56 degrees... it may just be me, but that seems really cold! especially when swimming 2 loops... I don't know, maybe i should just suck it up! but 56 degrees, brrrrrr

Hi Jo-tris. Sorry I didn't see this post. Ya, I did it. So did Chile and PirateGirl, apparently. It was cold but not miserable or anything. It was fine once you got going. And good practice, for sure. Did you end up going?

Good for you Robin (and the others)!! I'm sure it was great practice and helps with confidence for the race. I ended up staying in L.A. and swam in the ocean, which ended up being about the same temp and like you said not miserable so I'm sorry I didn't suck it up and make the trip to Tempe. Looking forward to swim practice during race week though. We are so close, I can't stand it! thanks for the post!
