Subject: Tapering volume I've been using MAOnline to train for IMAZ, and this week has been the first week of tapering. What I had in mind for the taper is a bit different than how I'm actually being coached, and want to see how it's shaping up for others.
Most weeks for me have been 17-22hrs. This week is 16h45, still with a relatively long ride (4h30 ) and a long swim (5500 ). Next week there are more shorter workouts, but overall time/distance is about the same. I haven't looked at week after next yet.
Next week:
Swims: 2000, 2500, 3500, 4000
Bikes: Speed, 2h30, 3h30
Runs: Speed, Speed, 40 mins, 75 mins <---this volume has dropped of significantly.
