Subject: East Cooper Coastal Triathlon
Anyone doing this????  Has anyone done it in years past?  I got a general idea of the route from the website but am wondering if there are maps anywhere?

I am not doing this one, but I will be going by Try Sports (the store that is sponsoring the event and providing wetsuit rentals) later today.  I'll ask those guys if they have a course map while I am there.  I am pretty sure I know most of the course but I am just not sure how far the bike is down Sullivan's Island (if its up Center st and back down Middle st onto IOP).  Anyway, will let you know what I find out.

Went by the store Friday afternoon and it appears they know about as much as we do.  No map out of the bike course and the guy there who is competing said that he wasn't sure, either.  Looking at it on mapmyrun.com it looks like it will take palm blvd onto sullivans all the way down to Ben Sawyer blvd.  Then turn around and come up Middle street back onto IOP. Either way its going to be straight and flat (except of course going over the Isle of Palms connector into Mt Pleasant).  Good luck and I will be there cheering ya'll on.

Thanks for the info.  I think I have the route pretty much figured out.  I am going to come to town on Friday night, so I think I'll try to drive the course on Saturday.  I'm looking forward to it!
