We regret to inform you that your application has been refused.  We are no longer looking for extras for our upcoming project "3" which, as you know, is the pornographic spoof of "300" starring all men with 3 in long penises.  We are currently looking for extras for another movie which will be going into production soon.  Oceans 2 is, well, you can probably figure it out.  We will forward your application video to the producer of that film.

Awww, c'mon guys and gals!  'Ken' isn't even here to defend his'self.  He's prolly out there, burnin' up the streets and waterways in his quest for race hardware.  Not that we'd know, seein' as we can't go look at his training volumns. 

But you'll know him on race day!  He'll be the guy up there with a cape and mask - defender of Triathlons!  Keeping racing safe for the real competitors.

But, let's get back to the OP.  Really, Ken, if you can't say something nice ... .  IMHO.

Dear "Ken", there are people in this world, who for some reason, feel the need to belittle someone or to discourage others, in an effort to make themselves feel above everyone else.  Your comments to Welshy, only showed the world that you are one of these people.  In no way do we look at you as the god you think you are.  Instead, we view you as mean spirited, which has no place in a sport, that for most amatures, is truely a race against themselves, their goals, their past times.  The overwhelming feelings on this site are usually one of support, warmth and camoradorie.  You may want to re-evaluate your motives for your comments before coming back to this site.

It finally happened.  I had come to beleive that the tri community was one of support and encouragment.  I'll never win a race or even my age group.  Yet I have been overwhelmingly enouraged and supported as I have struggled on.

Your bad mouthing of Welshy was uncalled for.  Possum was right.  My mother once told me if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all or STFU!
