Not at all ... very easy process. Turn computer off, there should be a lever at each end of the RAM that will help you pop it out. Just make sure that when you go to put the new RAM in, you line it up in the right direction. There is a little notch in the middle of it, just make sure its in the right place when you go to push it into place.

This link has some good pictures. It shows older memory with two notches (yours should have only 1) but the process is identical.

Check your computer board as well, because on a lot of the newer ones, there are 4 slots for RAM which means you can just ADD your new RAM without losing your old stuff. 

And it is easy - just be careful not to mess up anything and make sure the computer is not only turned off but unplugged.

And make sure to ground yourself or discharge any static electricity form you body before toucing the motherboard or any parts. You can do this by touching the metal case first.
