Hi

Seeing I have been posting about the Subic, Philippines Race, thought I better pop in here and say Hi.

I am an Aussie living in Philippines and am currently hard in training for my first ever triathalon event - a half iron man in October. Have been in training for about 2 1/2 months now and after next week's time trails, will be doing peaking for the race. Am training with a group of people arranged by the event organisers and we have a good coach and have been having a lot of fun, though it is hard work and does nothing for social life.

I think my life is currently nothing but eat, sleep, work, train..... very little else. Sore knees today and so I am having a day off training (this week is supposed to be a rest week) - though we do train every day. AM and PM M,T,T,F, and AM only for W when we do brick, and S,S when we do our long bike and long run.

Will pop in from time to time. I really like this forum, just no time in my life! :-)

Anyway, am off for a massage now! One of the benefits of living here (Philippines) is that things like massage are affordable - about US$5 - 10 for one hour sports massage, depending where one goes.
