Subject: 2008 Race Season Planning?

I want to give a go at a half iron and maybe a full next year and Im trying to plan out which events I would want to do.  Im trying to figure out when the races for 2008 are going to be held and when I would need to sign up.  From what Im reading people are saying registration for the next years events are almost immediately right after the event and often sell out fast.

So my question is where can I see the schedule for the 2008 races, and when do I need to sign up!

Go to www.ironmanlive.com and they have a list of some of the 70.3 and Ironman races. I'm thinking about doing the same thing for next year. I'm probably going to do the CA 70.3 and maybe a Ironman at the end of the year.

Ive gone there, but I only see the 2007 race dates ... nothing about 2008.  Are they typically all held around the same weekends each year?

Yeah I'm doing the 2008 CA 70.3 this year it was held on Mar 30 next year its Mar 28. I don't think that they put the dates up until after the race.

the IM races are generally the same weekend the next year and registration starts the day after the finish of the current year. So pick the event and be ready to sign up the day after it this year.
