I think my training is fairly good....have been doing most of it on my own. I come here often, especially read the race reports to see how my times compare to others. My swim needs to improve, but I have made significant gains with that in the last 2 to 3 months (I can actually swim freestyle for more than 30 minutes non stop!). Six months ago I couldn't even swim a lap without going to the breaststroke. I did 15 miles on the bike Tuesday in 45 minutes, so a few more breakthrough rides like that and I should be in good shape. Yes....you are right I can't wait, everyone thinks I am nuts, but that's cool.

Good luck in your tri - you'll have to let us know how it compares to adventure racing - I've always wanted to do that.

Hey, my old stompin ground - I grew up there and recently did some work there, a half year stint, with a company called Telos. Man, I tell you, the summers are brutal there, I don't know how you do it. Hey, good luck on your first tri!

I was there sometime around 01/01 - 08/01. Telos*OK had multiple sites, of which the main office was located on 111 SW "C" Ave. I worked on Ft.Sill, but can't remember who we supported. However, my sup was a Tim Bolin, lead Sys. Engr.
