Subject: Changing brake levers
Hello all. I am having trouble getting my TT levers fixed. I have a specialized transition with TekTRO rx 4.1 brake levers and the bolt that the lever rotates on disappeared mid-ride. I can't get just the bolt so was wondering if anyone had experience changing these out?

Thanks
Mike

Easy enough to do --

* loosen the brake cable from the brake and pull it through

* Loosen the bolt inside the lever that binds the lever body to the handlebar.

* Do the reverse with the new lever.

Hardest part is getting the cable to make that first bend when you put the button end in the lever.

I'd suggest replacing the cable while you're at it (the part that the brake caliper binds on will usually be crimped and difficult to thread through again).
