Subject: 140.6 days until IM WI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not exactly sure what time 140.6 days 'til race day will be, but its sometime tomorrow (crap, I thought it was today, Friday, so had to edit).  That's one day for every mile of the race (plus some).

Trail Mix 25k trail race for me tomorrow.

I'm in the air for 12 hours tomorrow.  

But then its on the bike for 3 hours on Sunday and my opening race of the season the week after that! 

Is it really 20 weeks away?  Holy CRAP!

All the IMAZ RR's have gotten me totally motivated and unbelievably scared.  20 weeks is an extremely short time, but a great amount of progress can be made, and I need to remember that.    Geez, I'm nervous for Steelhead 70.3 and that's in August.  What if I can't finish that, what if I HATE it!  How will I face IM Day?....ignorance is bliss, right?

I remember last year at this time being so excited for the race.  Enjoy your training and the experience.  I can't wait until next year when I get to do it again!  Good luck to everyone in your training.  I will be there jockstraping this year.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! THE SUN FINALLY CAME OUT!!!

The real training can finally start!! Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition!!! My main goal is to get a nutrition plan worked out over the summer!!

Train hard and don't forget to rest!!! Rest is part of training!!

Sweetness!!!  Official IM training for me starts in about a week.  Right now Im still recovering from Boston.  Im getting really excited to get crack-a-lackin!!

20 weeks from right now, I hope to be out on the run course.

I can't believe it is going to be that soon.  My bike endurance is coming along well, but my swim could be a little better.  (especially if I would actually get IN the pool.)

Birkie,

 Your killing me with these countdowns.....I dont even want to know,see,hear what everyone else is doing...Im dying on the vine with an injury that has kept me from running since the end of December. Last wk marked my return to WALK/RUNNING while i try to build up some tolerance to the discomfort and pain.  Im learning that goal setting needs to be an evolving thing. I am enjoying the weather change though....the wind this weekend hopefully wont be around this year in Madtown (along with the rain).

I love the countdown!  It's part of the excitement.  So much to do between now and then though, it's gonna be busy.
