As I was visiting friends at their "bush-camp" and going thru a trail, I found 3 kittens nearly to death. Almost afraid to pick them up as I have asthma & allergies, I couldn't just leave them there! As we looked around and found mother close by (and not moving) I just about got sick. How could anyone just "dump" these animals. It was too late to bring them to the shelter, so I had to feed them overnite, as no baby bottles in this house, I used a syringe. One died overnight. The other 2 are alive & well at the shelter now. Point here- - please have your pets spayed or neutered !!

that is so awful to hear! but i am happy to hear that you were able to help them out...there are few things more heartbreaking than hearing about domesticated animals thrown aside and neglected.. Hopefully the ones that you were able to save will have a full and speedy recovery

Athena, that was so good of you to take them in, especially with your health conditions!  The world can use more like you
