It was perfect weather for a race.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked across the bridge to wait for a friend who was walking/jogging the race, and helped her jog to the finish line.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I wasn't able to train as hard as I wanted before the race because I got sick two weeks before the race.

Event comments:

Really wish I would not have gotten sick and injured before this race. Because I wasn't able to train as hard as I would have liked, and knew I wouldn't be able to achieve my goal time, my approached to this race changed at the last minute. I decided that I would go out enjoy the run and have fun. Which is what I did.

Course: Started on City Island. Went around the Island across the walking bridge and down along the river. Continued along the river going under the Harvey Taylor bridge to the first ramp up to Front St. That ramp leads to some garden, went around the garden and back down the ramp to the river. Went back the same direction we came, across the walking bridge to the finish, which was at the end of the walking bridge.

Great job on getting the race done even though you were sick. 

and the weather couldn't of been any better, so that's good stuff.
