Subject: Longmont Twin Peaks?
Anyone doing this sprint? This will be my first ever tri, anything out of the ordinary that I should be prepared for?

Thanks in advance

It's a good first timers race!  Pool swim is fine, bike is 3 loops, nothing unusual there and the run has some rollers but nothing big there. Either.  I have done it 2 times and had fun both times.  best of luck.

If this is the one that's on June 3rd this will be my first tri. I wish I had an additional month to train but I can't change that.

I just signed up! This will be my second Tri. My wife did this one 2 years ago and liked it. She said there was lots of goodies in the race packet (there better be for the steep entry fee...)

I've been travelling and I can tell you this ended up being harder than I thought, in other words I'm more of a wuss than I thought. My calves weren't back to normal for a week and I couldn't believe how they felt when I got off the bike.

It was a fantastic time though and I shall redeem myself with a better performance in the near future.

Ugghh. I wasn't at all happy with my performance. I didnt spend anywhere near enough time on the bike this spring, and it showed. Those little hills didnt look like much, but they kicked my butt!

It is, however, a fairly well run event. Was disappointed that with the expensive registration cost, they skipped t-shirts.
