Tomorrow is my first race. Friday morning is donut day for me. There's a great bakery on my way to work. I am pretty sure that donut carbohydrates help with the carbo-loading. It's too bad they didn't have any of the cream cheese pastries I usually get. I bet they have even more carbos. Go sports nutrition!

Sports nutrition/carbolading does not mean ingesting every form of fat and simple sugar in sight. But if you want to use it to justify your Krispy Kremes or your Ben and Jerry's, more power to you.

Bah. I wish I could visually squish some sarcasm into typed words. Oh well. I'll have to pass on jobs writing comic fiction.

I know donuts aren't great food. I was just joking about it with my wife when I told her I was carbo loading. Aside from that cinnamon twist, I've been very good with my diet the last couple days and will continue to do so until after the race.
