Cold Feet while wearing wetsuit

I will be doing my first race with a wetsuit in June. I haven't purchased the wetsuit yet, so I haven't had a chance to practice with it. My question, however, is about the areas of the body that are exposed, particularly, the hands and feet. Don't they get cold?
