Hey there fellow Hoosiers-
Just thought I'd pass along (for those that don't already know), that the folks running the Muncie Endurathon have added a Sprint race this year.

So if you want to be a part of (what looks to be) a great event, there are now 3 choices available for the adults:

Long Course Tri:
1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run

Aqua-Bike:
1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike

Sprint Tri:
400 yard swim, 12.3 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

I'm registered for the HIM but I may transfer to the sprint...I'm just not coming along very well with the swimming. So far, there's only 16 registered but hopefully there will be some more. It should be a great sprint. It will be cool to finish the sprint and then watch the HIM finish!

if nothing else, with only a handful of people in the sprint, we should all do REALLY well in our age groups

I thought about that also! I searched the registered athletes and there's only a few in each age group! I'm sure it will pick up though as we get closer to the race. I've requested to transfer my registration from the HIM to the sprint...I'm hoping they will honor that request considering I paid nearly 3 times the amount of fees!
