Subject: Crappy few days of life Great day of training
So I've been having a crappy week of life. I've been having terrible pains in my feet when running which leads me to believe I've got stress fracture's. The podiatrist can't see me for 10 days and I'm racing a du 4 days after he see's me. I haven't run now in a almost a week. Then my boss gets into this fight with me after work. I work for a native run casino and he explodes on me ready to go to fists saying that I hate native's because we were picking on a girl who passed out and she happened to be native. Basically the way things run where I work I may very well lose my job or at the least take a suspension and have to change shifts and be marked as a racist. Oh ya one of my very good friends is native but that doesn't seem to matter. So with this on my every thought I decide I'm going all out at the pool this morning. Your not your job or the money you make so screw it. I go all out at the pool today and knock out 750 yards (distance of my first sprint on June 10th) in 21 minutes. My previous long swim was 150 yards. I've had a few TI lessons in between though. My form wasn't great and a few times I had to roll over on my back and float/kick to get my breath but overall it was a huge milestone for me during a crappy week. I made it.
Sorry for the rant I just wanted to get that off my chest and I'm quit proud of myself.

Sorry that things have been crappy, good job on the swim.  Keep your head up and sooner or later things will turn around.
