Regular  99  Pleasanton, CA |  Subject: intro, after first yearI've completed my first year of triathlon training, actually 8 months, and finished my first sprint distance race. Got into tri's because I needed something to challenge me to workout more often and for more endurance. I really enjoy the training aspect and how detailed each discipline can be to be successful in the sport and have fun. I wish everyone the best of luck and steady improvements! |

Regular 99 Pleasanton, CA | Subject: RE: intro, after first year I was well prepared for the bike and run but had only been swimming for 2 months. The swim didn't go all that well but I'm sticking with it and will improve over time. I had practiced the swim-bike transition once (which helped) but doing several brick workouts really helped me prepare for the bike-run transition. |
