Subject: Attaching handlebar-mounted accessories to stem
Assuming that I ever receive it, I am looking to attach the handlebar mount for my Forerunner 305 to the top (flat part) of my stem (having no room on the handlebar).  Are there any good solutions/tips out there, since the stem runs perpendicular to the bar?

Some accessories (not sure whether the Garmin does/doesn't) have adaptable mounting hardware (you can rotate the clamp 90 degrees).  I've mounted my cycle computer to the stem.  You can also buy small bars to give you more "handlebar" space.  Might be a consideration if you normally train with lights, but want to remove them for racing.
