I just got The Stick with my Christmas gift certificate! I have the marathon size. I was a little skeptical, but am very pleased with it. I had a knot in my hamstring and was able to work it out and found another sensitive spot near my knee and was able to lightly work it out using this. Also feels great on calves when they are a little sore from running.

Does this thing work good on feet and hips also?

I tried it out at a running store, and was a little skeptical. It seemed too simple to be really doing anything.....

I will say I have had mine a couple of weeks and love it. I hanven't tried it on hips, but does work on feet, but not as hard as I would like. I have used mostly on legs. Especially my calves which get very tight. You can go as hard as you want and I've been able to work out a few knots already. It also feels great on back and neck. I do recommend the Marathon size.

Great tool! We have a couple of them, a longer one for home and a short for travel. It's not going to be a effective as a foam roller, but great for target areas and "touch ups".

My routine with the stick goes like this... stretch, roll, stretch again... you'll be amazed how much flexibility you gain when you loosen up your muscles or reduce the knots.

Love mine and use it a lot.  I have a nagging thing with my right hammie that I constantly have to work out.  The stick does the trick.  I have the travel size, and I do take it with me to races and such.

The Stick is definitely not a substitute for a foam roller, but it's a good complement to it. The size also makes it easy to travel with.
