Doing Steelhead

1) Dan Arnett
2) M 30 - 34
3) Newport News, Va and Hopefully staying with Amanda
4) Break 4:40
5) 5th HIM and final tune up for 70.3 Worlds
6) My goal is to really bust out a great run.  I have been concentrating on my swim and bike all year and this summer it's time for the run.  That's where my next huge gain will be I believe.

Name: Kelly Marzano
Category: F30-34
Area and where you're staying: Chicago, host hotel
Goal time: No clue, I'll say 6:00-6:30
HIM: First
What else: Run is usually my strongest. Definitely need some serious work on the bike and swim. Hoping to be fast enough on the bike I won't have a ton of ground to cover in catch up on the run. With it being my first HIM though, no real clue how I'll even feel when I get to the run. Mostly I just want to have fun.

4. sub 6:30
5. This will be my third tri and my second HIM distance.
6. As long as I don't take a mouth full of lake and throw up like I did at IM CA I figure I'll be ahead of the game.

3. I live about 45 minutes to the NOrth, so I'll be driving down.
4. I would love to finish sub-6. 5:45 and I will skip through meadows like Julie Andrews in "The Sound of Music". Mostly I just want to finish and leave it all out on the course.
5. First HIM and really, really nervous about it.
6. I really wish I would have ordered my new bike sooner so I would have it for the race. I'm a little intimidated going into this with a road bike, particularly if it's a windy day. Did I mention I'm really, really nervous?

Do not worry about the roadie. I used a roadie for my first and I pretty much put my hands on top of my elbow pads on the aero bars. I only went aero to drink. I did not have the cheapest bike on the course but everybike I saw was atleast a roadie.

Hey relax make sure your confortable and just do it. Only get worried if I pass you. .

I'd only be worried about being on the losing team outside of that you'll do great
