Subject: Cycling groups in NoVA?
Does anyone know of any cycling groups in Northern Virginia area (I live near Tysons) that are good for newbies? I definitely will need to get some group cycling in so I can learn how to ride with other people for the race. Or is there a group of BTers that go riding locally and would be fine with a 26-year old girl who is maybe not the fastest, but she'll sure as heck try to keep up

I would also try Potomac Pedalers. They have rides throughout the region. Here is the website:

I second the recommendation on PPTC, they are a great group and have excellent rides in the area. I am in Springfield if you ever want to meet up for a ride on the weekends.
