Anyone know anything about the Powerman series

I just found the website at http://www.powerman.org.
It's a duathlon series of sorts. It looks like more European based than US. But the website offers very little in the way of concrete information.
I know I'm never going to be able to do an ironman but if the "powerman" was something like 1/2 marathon - 60 mile bike - 1/2 marathon then I'd consider it.
Anybody know anything more about them?
