Subject: Lafayette YMCA Sprint tri
Is anyone doing the Lafayette Sprint next weekend, I signed up this will be my first tri this year and my third ever. I e-mailed them last week and she said the lake was 71 degrees and we have had a warmer May this year. I will go without a wetsuit since it is only 500 yards.

Sorry I din't hook up ...came in from Indy at the last minute.

Water was great!!! I thought the entire event was well organized and the volunteers were well worth it.

I missed it on the swim ...just did not train well enough and went to slow but I felt the bike and run were above par for me.

How did you do???

I put the race in the file if you want to log it.

I thought it was a great race and yes I would take that water temp any day. I did ok, it seem like I was stuck in 3rd gear all day and never could shift to 4th. That run was really hot, I was glad they had shade on some of the course. I will be in Logansport and hope to do a little better, I'll do a race report on it soon, I finished in 1:24. I'm glad everyone had a good time and did well.
