Subject: Traveling for Tri's (bike transport)

request for advice:

Li'l sis - lives in Cali. she's flying to NJ to do the Danskin w/me and some other family members this Sept. It will be her first race. She asked me for advice on traveling w/her bike. Since I'm relatively new and have never had to travel by plane for a race, I had nothing to offer other than my connection to BT members who have experience with both. I can't tell you what kind of bike she has b/c she is still shopping for a road bike...

We had the same questions - there's a thread -Shipping Bikes - where BT'ers gave us great advice - it's on page 27 in this section- last posted on 5-01 in the morning. I don't know how to link you to it, sorry. GOod luck.
