Comments: Perfect weather for my first marathon. I wanted to practice my nutrition for longer triathlons, but didn't feel hungry during the race. I was aiming for 300 cals /hr, but probably only had about 200 cals / hr. I forced myself to have a few Hammer Gel shots so that I wouldn't bonk. My plan was to negative split for a time of 4hrs. I followed the plan and held my pace back for the first half, even though I was feeling like I could have gone faster. Goo dthining that I did, because by the end my pace was slowing. Overall I was happy with my first marathon. Post race

Got up 3hrs before the reace and jad a bagel with PB and honey, glass of OJ and a banana. Dinner the night before was a little late, so I wasn't very hungy.
