Subject: Diet Pills??

not just your OTC diet pills.... my dr. prescribed Xenical (sp) - pretty expensive stuff - because I was at a standstill with the dietician, all tests were normal..thyroid etc etc... Question:  has anyone ever taken these?? and  How do you feel taking these?

Or:  maybe "Dr. Phil's " book - has anyone read that??

I'm looking for something that'll help as I'm stuck !!

What are you eating habits?  What sort of nutritional program are you on?

with the dietician I've been following pretty close to the Canada Food Guide (I guess similar to US) except for grains - - I can't do 5-7 per day !! they just won't go down.  Because of the excercising, I'm at around 1800-2000 calories/day, and still dietician is stumped

A friend of mine was taking these...they are a fat blocker and if you've ever seen the commerical for them, he said they do everything promised in terms of side effects. Basically, because he could not give up his high fat intake (deep fried everything) his body had nothing to do with the fat and he was constantly running back and forth to the bathroom. As near as I could tell, they didn't do anything for him (except get him moving more with his constant trips to the toilet).
