Arghhhh...that sucks.  That means no Timberman?  Well I think MCM is still open for sign ups (haven't checked recently) but you could join me there!  Heal fast, I feel your pain, having gone through this myself.

Enjoy the drugs.

Flush the Perkocet and call Dr. Walker. Dr. Johnny Walker.  It's in red italics because I don't want you to take that as actual medical advice (but that's what I do personally after knee surgeries...). Glad you are mostly okay!

Sorry to hear about your crash, Mark.

I run with my dog and always use the choker collar and short leash when we are out on the park path. I always greatly appreciate it when cyclists give me the "on your left" so I have a chance to take extra care that I have control of my dog. I would feel HORRIBLE if we caused someone to crash.

I think your story reminds us to be very cautious around behavior we can't predict -- like kids and animals. (I had a turkey hop up into the air and nearly fly into me once!)

Recover quickly and share plenty of stories / wisdom on the BT website while you have the extra time!

Ok guys and gals enough of this sucks stuff your going to get old rollingbones down.. Man this is an outstanding opportunity for you to get in some real lower body strength training Legs of steel, abs of iron, kind of stuff not to mention the flexibility training you can now do.  Man really I am sorry about the crash but as an old chief on mine said when life gives you lemons make lemonade.

Thanks everybody. How ironic that I just committed to a new local tri-club so that I could focus on improving on the bike.

In a way I do fee lucky tho. I was home in a few hours, slept in my own bed couch last night and evrything will heal.  Cuda been worse.

your thots are really appreciated.

Mark
