My first tri Saturday - of course my nerves are forcing me to go online and look for support instead of preparing!! I'm sure everyone else who is tri'ing tomorrow is already crashed!! Good Luck to all!

I will be competing and my final triathlon of the season and an effort to be ranked three years consecutively, in our sport.
Thanks to each and everyone of you for sending e-mails and personal messages asking my current training status. It just has been a little harder to fill out training dogs since the birth of our newest child.

Good luck to each of you as you compete in your respective races!

Good Luck at the Lake Pleasant Tri!!! I hope to make it out there as a spectator. Hurricane Javier is supposed to affect the weather in the valley over the weekend and the forecasted high is in the low to upper 90s - hopefully, it will be as ideal of weather AZ can provide for a tri.

HOLY CR@P! That's a busy weekend. I guess no one will be here to post anything, and then the race report thread will have so many entries that it'll break...

I'm impressed to say the least. Well, good luck everyone. The dogs woke me up 20 minutes ago to go outside, so I'm up for the day and they're back in bed sleeping

I was supposed to be racing this weekend, but somehow the race got cancelled, under some strange circumstances.  The race director never got ANY permits.  And I might not get my money back.  Weird.  Maybe I'll do my own tri tomorrow.

Hey Mike(Marmadaddy) I will keep a look out for you tommorow. Look for a big guy with a beginner triathlete short near the finish line.

I did not run into Mike today but let me tell you, He is probably an ice cube right now. It was freezing out and I heard the water was only 57 degrees. Looks like I made a good choice not to race this one.
