Don't swim with contact lenses in (Page 2)

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I had heard that you were never supposed to swim in them, but nobody ever told me why.  So, naturally, I ignored the advice.  I'm in the same situation as another poster though- my eyes are -9.25 and I am blind as a bat without assistance.  I guess I'll be more careful to wear my goggles tightly and disinfect my lenses after swims.
