Hello All,

Would anyone know if Wilcox Lake in Richmond Hill is a good place to practice OWS?  I will be going down to Lake Ontario to train on weekends, but Wilcox Lake is closer for maybe one night a week.

I know there is a beach but am unsure if you are allowed to swim outside the beach area.

Thanks.

I drove by there last week.  There were people fishing, nobody was swimming.  Not a supervised beach, no lifeguards, so I would not swim there by myself.  Beach and water do not look clean, a little scary, IMHO.

Members of the Toronto Triathlon Club often go swimming at Lake Wilcox on Saturday mornings so people do swim there. All have said that the water is a bit sketchy though - i.e. don't swallow the water and wear earplugs

I have a quarry which you can do 1300m loops, water is tested, super clear and clean, open for use 5 days of the week. In Caledon, 6:00am tomorrow morning.
