Subject: Another swim term question
This is my workout for today (from Beginner 1/2 Iron):

long day
wu: 6 x 100, concentrating on different part of stroke each 100
main: 4 x 400, keeping each 400 even pace, (alternate 3 x 400)
cd: 2 x 150 pull

How long should I rest in between each 100, between the WU and Main, and between each 400? I'm never sure when they don't specify a timed interval.

Typically between sets your should rest 1:00.

As for rest intervals within each specific set you need to set your intervals based on ability and what phase of training you are in.
