Subject: Lake Montclair - Who's in?

I'm debating wearing a wet suit. What are others planning. On one hand I would love to have the benefit, however, I'm afraid I will get too hot which I tend to do.

I'll wait to get the water temp that morning for my final decision.

What are your thoughts?

Great race!! I did it last year as my first oly. I really wanted to this year since it is just a few miles from my house but I have to do a long run that day for my IM training instead... I do plan on running to the course (as part of my long run) and watching part of the race!

About the wetsuit - the course was long last year. I chose to not wear my wetsuit because I thought I would be hot and since I come from a swimming background "I don't need it". Boy was I wrong. I would definately wear it if I had it. Especially if you have sleeveless.

I last swam in Lake Montclair the 9th of June and I was fine in a sleeveless wetsuit. I hope to swim on Friday so I will try to remember to give a temp report.

i'm in..and yeah, i swam without the wetsuit last year, but i'm definitly thinking about wearing it this year - if they're allowed
