Subject: Spirit of Racine Pre-Race Dinner
I am going to coordinate this year's pre-race dinner. Last year we ate at The Chancery restuarant and thought it worked out pretty well. So, for all those who would like to attend on July 22 (night before the 1/2), please either drop me a PM or just reply here with the number in your party who will attend. I would like to know the number of adults and the number of children. I will make the reservations for 6pm based on the received replies. Any questions, let me know.

I just had a mistake pointed out to me from my original post. The dinner will actually be the evening of July 21st (since the 1/2 IM is on July 22nd).

Well I will attend and I will be bringing jsut myself.

I would like to encourage all SOR members to attend. Not only so we can met each other and get to know each other as people outside of just bodyless avaratars, but we can all feel good knowing that the next day will be our day of victory over team fish.

I am bumping this thread as a reminder to anyone who would like to attend to please either reply here, or to the similar post on the Wisconsin and Illinois race page, or just PM me. We are a little over two weeks away and I will be making reservations within the week. I will send out directions to the restuarant as the date gets closer. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out of the Spirit of Racine Pre-Race dinner on Saturday night. I think we had about 30 people total. Everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoy themselves. I hope that we will be able to make this a tradition with the participants.
I saw many BT'ers on Sunday during the race and most looked like they were having great races. Congratulations to all who finished (especially those of you who were doing your 1st HIMs).

Omigosh, who's going to put names to that?  Sheesh.  Hey, another advantage to the baby pack, reflective strips make you more noticeable in group pictures with weak flashes!  Sweeeeet.

Sorry I missed you guys. I took the bike out for a last minute test ride around 3:30ish and had a mechanical problem. I spent from 5-6 at the shop but all was fixed for race day. Glad to see you had a great dinner.
