Subject: another IM aid station question
on the bike - does anyone know what size (volume) the gatorade and water bottles are? I am trying to figure out my nutrition and would like to know how frequently I will need to pick up

They are 24 ounces. I just went to the Gatorade Web site to doublecheck.

There is no limit so plan you rnutrtion around time and pick up when you are almost empty so you never actually run out.

As someone above said, they are the 24oz twist-top bottles you can buy in stores. I highly recommend training with them - it takes some getting used to to open them on the fly with your teeth while trying to navigate on the bike.

Aid stations are approx. every 10 miles or so - unless you drink like it's going out of style you shouldn't have to worry about running out.
