Anyone else doing the Mighty North Fork in Southold July 8th?  I'll be there.  Any one else do it in years past care to share any experiences?

Timmy!! Unfortunately I won't be racing, it's taper time for the Musselman, but best of luck to you. I'm sure you'll smoke the course. Let me know how it goes.

I really need to work on my swim. 500 yards was tough for me. Swimming is not my strong point. I might be making a few more trips put to cedar to swim in simular conditions. I have to get my endurance up. I will however be doing the Carl hart Fall dualthlon.

I hope you all had good races, I wish I could have been there. If anyone is planning on getting out for open water swims please let me know...I can certainly use the practice.

Ralph (rtocco) and I are going to try and meet up at the Tobay course on August 12 (1 week before race) and do swim/bike course.  Runner's Edge is sponsoring free clinics/workouts on the TOBAY course a few different days over the next few weeks.  They just start Sooper early.  Check here for their schedule:
