Subject: Bike Riding at South Jersey Shore

I'm going to be in Ocean City for about a week this month on vacation.  Are there any rides around nice enough for me to bring my bike?

I am already planning on running on the boardwalk and doing my OWS there but if anyone has any suggestions on anything I would appreciate it.

First, I would advise against running on the boardwalk, unless you're going early mornings. Much fewer people to dodge on the beach or on the road.

I haven't biked down the shore yet, but I should think that taking Ocean Dr. down to Sea Isle and then popping out to Rt. 9 and coming back up might be decent. I am trying to picture the roadways in my mind. Hopefully, someone else can comment better than me.

Find your location/county within the map, and then go for the roads in thin green lines or green/yellow lines.  I've not yet been disappointed

Ocean city is a dry town, it's very nice, clean, and family friendly.

Plenty of good rides offshore of Ocean city, RT 9 South down towards sea isle, go out 550 towards woodbine/Bell Plain area. Look at some maps alot of great country roads
Running on the boards sucks this time of year unless you can get it all in before 7:30
