This morning, I was approaching a T intersection with a stop sign at the same time as a pickup truck who did not have a stop sign. If he takes his right of way and continues through the intersection, there's no problem, but he see's me and slows down. I can't figure out his motives and slam on the brakes and turn, sliding on the gravel and going to the ground with my feet still in. It was a gentle roll, no blood, no torn clothes, no damage to the bike. He stopped to ask if I was okay, waited until I collected my water bottle from the pavement and remounted, then asked again if I was okay. He tapped his cigarette and drove on, and I finished my 50 mile ride.
