I was very disappointed in my swim. When I got out of the water and saw my 50 minutes time I was very frazeled. I didnt have good navigation through the water. Now looking at all the other times posted in the results I think that was longer than 1500meters.

Swim longer distances in training and practice looking up and swimming at the same time.

I was happy with my biking. I did panic a little when my chain fell off during the first big hill on the 2nd lap. I was looking around for someone to help me....and then I started to think again and put it back on.

I would have not carried so much liquid. The reason why I brought so much was because I thought it would be hot and forgot to empty a little when I saw the day would be cloudy.

I was happy with my run

Push a little harder during the run. I kept paceing myself at the end of race I did still have some energy.

Walked over to the food table only to find apples left. But that apple sure did taste good.


I think I could have pushed myself a little harder. I was too conservative on the race.


There was not enough clear communication which made for some disorganization. Overall it was a good 1st Olympic Triathlon for me. I also want to say that I am proud of Grant, Dan, and John. WE DID IT!!!!!!
