Subject: Guelph 2 different than Guelph 1?
Is it a typo, or are the distances in the Guelph lake 2 sprint Duathlon longer than Guelph 1? In GL1 it was 2/19/5 now for 2 it says 2/30/7? I was hoping it was the same so I could compare 2 to the first one.

I know that some things are a bit different they do not run an Olympic distance at GL2 I have never done the duathlon I don not know the specifics of that. I would suggest an email to trisport.

So is anyone else doing the sprint Du or Tri at Guelph 2? I'm still wondering why they increased the distance on the bike and second run. From the results of previuos years I notices Guelph I and Guelph II had the same distances.

For me the 20km hilly course wasn't to fast! haha it was my first ever Duathlon tho. I'm gonna drive up and ride the new course some time before the race and check it out. Hopefully all my training on the bike will help out...Now if I only I didn't keep getting injured I'd be a little less worried about my running fitness.

Two things:

1) Don't they give out a wetsuit to the most improved? Maybe they are looking for an excuse not to give out the wetsuit

2) In 2005, they had an Oly at GL2.
