 Crystal Lake, IL |  Subject: Crystal Lake OWS - BT kicked butt!This was from my blog but it was enough of a group BT activity I thought it was worth mentioning here. If you were there yesterday and I missed you I'm sorry, we'll catch you next year. It was great to meet so many BT'ers. jmcelroy, daveo111, mannyclow and mr2tony were all guys I met for the first time. All really nice guys, glad you came out! Also saw Whizzzz, Coredump, Schmize, jowisc, jschmitchicago, StartingToTri and chirunner134. I'm telling you it was a fest. Like a pre Spirit of Racine meeting. Some people even got a preview of the SOR Daily Sheet. Afterward about half of the above came over to my house after bike rides and cleaning up (thankfully!) for some fun and afternoon BBQ. Note for entertaining triathletes: don't need much alcohol but stock up on the bottled water! Awesome performances by everyone too. Some of us were happy to survive but check this out: Coredump: 12th overall, 1st AG. Some were 1 milers and some 2 milers. Congrats to all the butt kicking BT'ers! |

It's so funny, I think 80% of the field is triathletes. The cars in the parking lot are LOADED with bikes. Tons of people go for rides or runs after the swim. |
